Synthetic turf grass on top of 12' retaining wall with built in storm drain for water control, pavers with paver bench and firepit. Cedar hand raling. The back yard was completely unusable. Also not seen in the picture is the covered deck and fire table with sectional couch as well as radiant ceiling heaters and bistro lights. 

Timber frame rafters with exposed bolts. Using collar ties and connected to 8x8 beams and post with a covered deck. This provides a robust look and feel of being in the mountains. 

Hand built Tuscan fireplace

Covered deck with metal roofing, 4x6 rafters on 8x8 framing. Powder coated brackets with lag bolts. 

Over sized covered patio creates a very open feel. T&G decking under comp fiberglass shingles with 6x8 post and beam. Cultured stone face with the sliding door gives this project a robust feeling.
